RAW Collective Is Back—But It’s Not the Same. And That’s a Good Thing.

Lyanne here—founder of RAW Collective. It’s been a while. And I’m finally ready to share why… and what’s next.
When I launched RAW eight years ago, I was fresh out of corporate fashion, a new mom (again), and had just moved cross-country from LA to Miami. I was building something from my apartment, fueled by the dream of making feel-good fashion for women who wanted more meaning in what they wore. I curated pieces that supported causes I cared about—hoping you’d feel good wearing them and good about what they stood for.
Then, life happened. A pandemic. A full house (my kids, my nieces, my mom). Composting. Home-cooked meals. Reusable everything. I was living what I preached… and I believed in it wholeheartedly.
But eventually, the pressure to keep up the image started to feel… dishonest. I was running RAW like a corporate brand instead of the small, soulful business it was meant to be. I stopped showing up online because I didn’t know how to reconcile where I started with who I was becoming.
I wasn’t shopping like I used to. I couldn’t afford the same sustainable groceries or plastic-free everything. I felt like a fraud. Like if I wasn’t doing it “perfectly,” maybe I shouldn’t share at all.
But here’s the truth: sustainability should work for real life.
And real life is messy. It shifts. It demands grace. It asks for space to evolve.
So here I am again—starting fresh. RAW Collective is no longer just about selling clothes. It’s about supporting women—like you—who are blooming into their next season of life. Maybe you’re a new mom. Maybe you’re starting over. Maybe you’re just tired of trends that don’t fit your lifestyle or your values anymore.
